Time Magazine Cover: Best Inventions
                              of 2023 - The Sphere, Las VegasAs a Senior Engineer at Sphere, I helped design and build tools and prototype audience-scale multiplayer games - That means games with player counts of 10,000 or more. We built our games using Unreal Engine 5, N-Display (For keeping multiple game instances in sync), and various custom tools and engine changes.

I and many of my Sphere Interactive Dept. colleagues were recognized in the award credits for Sphere winning the Themed Entertainment Association's (TEA) "Outstanding Achievement" award for "Immersive Technology and Production". The program credits are below. Congrats on the win everyone, you were all great teammates!

Also of note, it is the second project I have worked on to be focused on the cover of TIME Magazine and as a main selection of their annual TIME Magazine: Best Inventions of the Year article (With Moxie being the first).


Due to non-disclosure agreements I can not share any media of official projects. However, I can share media of a solo game jam project built 100% by me - shown here running in the Burbank development office's mini-Sphere. Written in Unreal 5, this interactive fireworks show allows Sphere audience members to contribute custom fireworks to the night sky by choosing the trail color, explosion color, and flight path. Flight paths are plotted using a custom spline animation system to match up drawn paths from users to sky coordinates.
